Meet our artisans!

Products are available for purchase at Olive + Grace, located in the Brick District in Fulton, Missouri., or available upon request contacting us.

Ugandan women often struggle to find jobs, and this is especially true for the communities we serve in rural Uganda. Many of the women make beautiful handmade paper beads, which they then use to create unique pieces of jewelry. They sell their products locally in Uganda, but don't earn enough there to survive. By reaching the American market, the women can earn fair wages for their work.  Eleos purchases jewelry outright from these ladies at a fair and ethical price, whether anyone buys the items from us or not.  This approach allows women to better care for their families through honest, dignified, safe work.

Products Available:
-- Rolled paper bracelets: $8
-- Rolled paper or seed necklaces: $10
-- Dresses: $12 plus size*, $10 standard size*

Add $2 for shipping, plus $5 for heavy orders.

Meet Margaret

Picture
Margaret is a 39-year-old mother of seven young children. When her husband found out she was expecting twins, he abandoned her and has never returned. Once the twins were born, Margaret didn't have a way to support herself - but she knew how to make beautiful crafts. So she started creating jewelry, handbags, and other products to support herself and her seven young children. Before long, she decided to move to Kaliro and began teaching other women in the community how to make craft materials.

Margaret enjoys spending her time reading the Bible and encouraging her friends with Scripture. She enjoys Christian music.
